Food

Here are a few foods we are loving lately. They are low-guilt but high-flavor. Please share what foods are getting you excited these days.

Fish- we have had both Halibut and Salmon this past week. I love grilled fish!
Jell-o -- This is so saving me since I have a HUGE sweet tooth. If we are feeling indulgent we may even put some light cool whip on it.
Edemamme -- so yummy, and so guilt free! Just go easy on the salt.
Hard Boiled Eggs-- yes, we eat the yolks too, but eggs are a great source of protein.
Craisins -- I keep these at my desk for when I get the munchies.
Kashi Bars - love the Trail Mix flavor. I eat one of these and chug water about an hour before step class.
Zip Fiz -- It flavors your water and adds vitamins and our little friend, caffeine! (My favorite flavor is Berry)
Mini Rice Cakes - the Apple Cinnamon are to die for.

I've been buying those sugar-free individual jellos and puddings. Seth usually won't touch sugar-free stuff, but he didn't realize they were sugar-free and he kept eating them and eating them. So, I buy those, but Seth has been the one eating them.

I've been trying to buy a fruit each week that I haven't had in a while (mango this week). I love fruit, but preparing it is always a pain.

I love the crystal light packets. They have a new one called "hunger satisfaction" that is a strawberry banana flavor that is good. I like the ones with fiber because I try hard to get enough fiber but it is a struggle. (ape- the strawberry flavor has caffeine in it and it is my fave taste-wise).

I also love hardboiled eggs!!! With salt and pepper. Yum.

Oatmeal. The girls and I consume a lot of oatmeal. I have been working on not doctoring it up so much...brown sugar is my temptress.

High fiber bread...like granny's delight wheat & fiber bread.

Salmon & broccoli. I could eat this everyday but since Seth is allergic, I only make it once a week or so because I have to make him something separate.

Yogurt.

Whole wheat pasta is your friend.

That's what comes to mind right now.
